Orange, NSW
December, 2007

Renovations to an 1863 State Heritage listed family home in the centre of Orange. Like all old homesteads this one had evolved slowly over 150 years to what was a beautiful home with the exception of a few ‘out of character’ changes that had been made in the 1970’s. The job involved rebuilding and extending the existing kitchen into a large and well connected space with direct views to the back yard. A flat roofed sunroom was re-worked into an extension of the lounge room and a sensitively planned loft space has been worked into the what was a large roof space.
